I joined 3VC in 2017 as a principal. Since then it has been a rewarding journey, from helping build a fund from the ground up to working with a multitude of category-defining companies.
I began my career at an IoT-focused startup and have also worked with academic founders at one of Austria’s biggest high-tech incubator. I learned how important product-market fit is when building scalable, sustainable businesses that effectively solve customer problems.
In my role at 3VC, I enjoy being a valuable sparring partner for founders, and also providing hands-on support where needed, be it customer development, fundraising, etc. I strongly believe in the next generation of global talent here in the Central Europe, and I am thrilled to contribute to the positive dynamics of the region through my work at 3VC.
To me, it is important to truly get to know founders - why they do what they do, what drives them, how they handle both challenges and opportunities, what lessons have they learned along the way. Trust is crucial, too, so that we can do our best to support the teams, not only in highs, but also in difficult times.
As a proud Latvian, for me there’s no better place in the world to recharge than the Latvian countryside in summer, reading a book (my favorite is science fiction) by the water. Or enjoying a hot steam in the sauna in winter. We may be a small nation, but we have a big passion for what our country has to offer.
As a sports enthusiast growing up, I learned to value collaboration, respect, and ambition—which still influences my work today. I first lived on my own at 15 years old, which taught me a lot about independence and making my own decisions.
